We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to join our team and drive the development and enhancement of our Microsoft 365 collaboration, productivity, and automation tools.
As Product Owner for Digital Productivity, you will play a consultative and strategic role, leveraging hands-on technical expertise in SharePoint, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Copilot Studio to coach and empower business line developers. You will own the roadmap, user experience, backlog prioritization, and lead feature development for a suite of Microsoft 365 tools. Your practical experience enables you to guide business users in designing, building, and deploying their own solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices, governance, and organizational standards. In addition to technical coaching, you will lead change management initiatives, drive communications, and foster a vibrant community of practice. You will be responsible for building and nurturing a champions network, supporting business enablement, and facilitating community engagement to accelerate, automate, and augment work across the organization. The emphasis is on iteration, learning, and value delivery, while supporting consistent adoption and ongoing improvement.
Qualifications:
3+ years of proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft 365, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Copilot, and Copilot Studio.
Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio.
Bachelors degree is preferred, but additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is a plus.
Strong technical understanding of Power Platform, Copilot, Copilot Studio, SharePoint, OneDrive, and productivity accelerators.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the roadmap for Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Copilot, Copilot Studio, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other productivity tools.
Own the user experience, ensuring solutions are intuitive, frictionless, and drive adoption.
Prioritize the product backlog to deliver features that empower business users and support collaboration, including the design and deployment of complex automation and AI solutions.
Lead feature development for automation, AI, and productivity solutions, focusing on business enablement and value delivery, with hands-on involvement in building, testing, and optimizing Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Copilot Studio bots.
Develop and execute change management plans. Create clear, approachable communications and training to support adoption, including technical enablement for end users and champions.
Build and nurture a champions network. Foster a collaborative community for sharing best practices and success stories, especially around Power Platform and Copilot Studio use cases.
Provide structured onboarding and guidance to drive consistent adoption of new capabilities, including technical workshops and deep dives.
Engage with stakeholders to understand needs, gather requirements, and co-create solutions, translating business needs into technical requirements and scalable solutions.
Promote standard automation capabilities and templates. Strengthen governed use of SharePoint and OneDrive for productivity and Copilot readiness, ensuring compliance and security best practices.
Partner with architecture, engineering, and dependent teams to integrate solutions and ensure seamless experiences, acting as a technical liaison for Power Platform and Copilot Studio projects.
Lead agile ceremonies and use data-driven insights to guide decisions, including technical metrics and adoption analytics.
Manage and grow a community of practice, supporting business enablement and facilitating ongoing engagement and learning.
