Position: Sr. Business Analyst- Wealth Management
Location: Fort Mill, SC (Hybrid)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Description:
We are
looking for a Sr. Business Analyst with strong expertise in Wealth
Management, SQL, and AWS to support data-driven initiatives
and lead Agile delivery. The ideal candidate will combine analytical and
technical skills with Agile leadership to ensure the successful execution of
projects in the Wealth Management domain.
Key
Responsibilities
Business
Analysis:
Partner with Wealth Management stakeholders (Advisors, Product
Owners, Operations, Compliance) to gather and document business
requirements.
Translate requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance
criteria, and process flows.
Perform data analysis using SQL to validate requirements,
generate insights, and support business cases.
Work with cloud engineering teams to design and support AWS-based
data solutions (data pipelines, reporting, analytics).
Support UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.
Scrum
Master Duties:
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning,
retrospectives, demos).
Coach and guide the team in Agile best practices and remove
impediments to delivery.
Track and report sprint progress, velocity, and key delivery
metrics to stakeholders.
Manage dependencies across multiple teams within Wealth Management
programs.
Required
Qualifications
12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Financial
Services, with a strong focus on Wealth Management (client
onboarding, portfolio management, advisory, risk & compliance).
3+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master.
Proficiency in SQL for querying, validation, and data
analysis.
Knowledge of AWS cloud services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena,
RDS, etc.).
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, user story writing,
and backlog management.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and
problem-solving skills.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
Finance, or related field.
