We’re hiring a hands-on Technical Lead who can own data-driven system design on AWS, lead teams, and bridge business requirements with scalable technical solutions. We’re looking for a Senior Technical Lead / Techno-Functional Lead who sits at the intersection of data, cloud engineering, and business execution. This is not just a data analyst, and not just a people manager.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Has 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience, with the credibility to lead technical decisions
- Is strong in data analysis (SQL, Python) and understands how data drives business outcomes
- Has designed and owned systems, not just written code
- Can translate business needs into technical architectures
- Has worked closely with product, business, and engineering teams
- Has experience acting as a Product Owner or pseudo-PO in Agile setups
- Is comfortable being the single technical point of accountability
What They Should Be Really Good At
- Designing scalable data-driven systems
- AWS-native architectures (Lambda, S3, Redshift, RDS, DynamoDB)
- Data modeling & data flows (not just dashboards)
- Leading cross-functional teams
- Reviewing architecture, code, and technical designs
- Managing delivery risks, timelines, and post-release issues
- Explaining technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
