Role Overview
- We are seeking a Java Full-Stack Architect with 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing and building scalable, high-performance applications. This role requires deep expertise in Java backend systems, modern React-based front-end frameworks, and AI-enabled application architectures.
- You will play a key role in technical architecture, solution design, and hands-on development, working closely with product, engineering, and AI teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and architect end-to-end full-stack solutions using Java and modern front-end frameworks
· Lead architecture decisions for scalable, secure, and cloud-native applications
· Build and optimize backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot, Microservices)
· Develop rich, responsive frontend applications using React and related frameworks
· Integrate AI/ML capabilities into enterprise applications (LLM APIs, intelligent workflows, automation)
· Guide development teams on best practices, design patterns, and coding standards
· Collaborate with product owners, UX, and data teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
· Ensure performance, security, and maintainability across the stack
· Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical mentorship
Mandatory Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
· 10+ years of experience in full-stack application development
· Strong expertise in Java, including Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices
· Hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks
· Proven experience in full-stack architecture and solution design
· Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications (LLMs, AI APIs, intelligent services)
· Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
· Strong knowledge of databases (SQL & NoSQL)
· Ability to work hybrid in the San Francisco Bay Area
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
· Experience with AI/ML platforms, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or similar
· Exposure to GenAI, RAG architectures, chatbots, or AI copilots
· Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
· CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
· Experience in event-driven architectures (Kafka, messaging systems)
· Prior experience in consulting or client-facing roles
