We are seeking a highly organized and assertive Release Mgmt Engineer with strong communication and coordination skills. This role is responsible for end-to-end release planning, execution, communication, and continuous improvement across multiple software delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Coordinate releases across multiple environments (QA → UAT → Hotfix → PROD)
✔ Work with 5+ development and product teams to gather release schedules and approvals
✔ Validate readiness, obtain stakeholder sign-off, and schedule release windows
✔ Monitor deployment execution and communicate progress, risks, delays, and results
✔ Establish, document, and streamline repeatable release processes
✔ Track release feedback, identify improvement areas, and drive corrective actions
✔ Push back when deployments violate process or create risk
✔ Support QA testing activities as needed (training available)
Required Skills & Experience
✓ 3-5 years total experience in Software Delivery, DevOps, Coordination, or Release Functions
✓ Prior development or engineering background preferred
✓ Experience working with CI/CD tools — specifically Jenkins
✓ Source control knowledge: GitHub / GitLab repository familiarity
✓ Strong stakeholder communication and status reporting skills
✓ Ability to influence, escalate risks, enforce processes, and hold teams accountable
✓ High level of organization, urgency, and ownership
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Familiarity with QA methodologies
• SQL, Python, or Playwright exposure (can be trained)
