Job Summary
Client is seeking an experienced SAP Finance Data Migration & Analytics Consultant to support a large-scale financial data transformation initiative. The role will focus on migrating Finance data from SAP to Databricks, designing scalable data models, and enabling advanced analytics and reporting use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Finance and IT stakeholders to understand SAP Finance data structures and business requirements.
- Lead and support financial data migration projects from SAP to Databricks, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Design and implement robust, scalable data models to support Finance analytics, reporting, and downstream consumption.
- Translate SAP Finance modules data into analytics-ready datasets for advanced reporting and insights.
- Optimize data pipelines and data structures for performance and scalability in Databricks.
- Support validation, reconciliation, and post-migration data quality checks.
- Collaborate with analytics and reporting teams to enable advanced Finance dashboards and reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Finance modules (e.g., FI, CO) and SAP data structures.
- Proven experience designing enterprise-grade data models for Finance data.
- Hands-on experience with financial data migration from SAP to Databricks.
- Solid understanding of Finance reporting, analytics, and data transformation best practices.
- Experience working with large, complex datasets in cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Exposure to advanced analytics, BI tools, or financial reporting platforms.
Experience working in cross-functional, global teams.
