Job Title: Lead Android Developer
Location: Owings Mills, Maryland
Contract: 6+ Months
Payrate: $62/hr. on C2C
Job Description & Responsibilities
10+ years of relevant, progressive experience with completed technical degree.
Stays up to date with latest Play Store requirements and latest Android features.
Proven experience of full lifecycle support of Android applications, from development to publishing and support.
Very strong hands-on experience with Android SDK, Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose, etc. and design & architecture.
Strong hands-on experience in working with remote data via REST and JSON.
Experience writing multi-threaded and networked apps, third-party libraries, and APIs.
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, trends, and emerging technologies.
Able to operate with openness and efficiency with one or more SDLC methodologies (e.g., Scrum/Agile, etc.)
Actively seeks feedback and guidance to improve technical skills (e.g., through submitting work for code review).
Works with existing data models and schemas and suggests changes and improvements where necessary.
Debugs and fixes your own software with minimal assistance.
Practices automated testing and tests your work in an automated and repeatable way.
