Must Have-
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM CICS .
- Good knowledge of z/OS, TSO/ISPF, and JCL.
- Experience with CICS system programming concepts (SIT parameters, PLT, exits).
- Understanding of VSAM, DB2, and MQ interfaces with CICS.
- Proficiency in performance monitoring and tuning tools (e.g., OMEGAMON, MainView).
- Knowledge of CICS recovery, logging, and restart processes.
- Should be able to manage customer and the team
CICS System Admin Support, 10+ years experience Key Responsibilities · Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain CICS Environment on z/OS. · Administer and support multiple CICS regions · Monitor and tune CICS performance, transaction throughput, and resource utilization · Handle problem determination, incident resolution, and root cause analysis for CICS issues. · Implement CICS security · Perform CICS backup, Storage, recovery, and disaster recovery planning. · Support application teams with CICS program deployment, debugging, and troubleshooting · Automate CICS administration tasks. · Participate in production support, on-call rotations, and planned maintenance activities. · Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing Must Have- · Strong hands-on experience with IBM CICS . · Good knowledge of z/OS, TSO/ISPF, and JCL. · Experience with CICS system programming concepts (SIT parameters, PLT, exits). · Understanding of VSAM, DB2, and MQ interfaces with CICS. · Proficiency in performance monitoring and tuning tools (e.g., OMEGAMON, Main View). · Knowledge of CICS recovery, logging, and restart processes.
