Key responsibilities
1 Platform management Install configure upgrade and maintain Tableau ServerCloud environments
2 User and security management Manage user accounts groups roles and permissions to ensure data security and compliance with policies Implement and support Single SignOn SSO and Active Directory AD integration
3 Performance and optimization Monitor server health performance and resource utilization Troubleshoot issues optimize performance bottlenecks and implement solutions for high availability and disaster recovery
4 Content and extract administration Manage scheduled data extracts data connections and workflows Support users in publishing dashboards and workbooks
5 Support and training Provide technical support training and guidance to users on using Tableau effectively
6 Compliance and governance Work with IT and data teams to implement data governance and compliance practices
7 Documentation and best practices Develop and document standards and best practices for the platform
Required skills and experience
1 Technical expertise Proficiency with Tableau ServerCloud including installation configuration and maintenance
2 Scripting and automation Experience with scripting tools like PowerShell to automate administrative tasks
3 Performance tuning Ability to monitor and optimize server performance and troubleshoot issues
4 Security awareness Strong understanding of data security principles and best practices
5 Communication Strong communication skills to provide support and training to users and collaborate with other teams
