Position: Data Engineer (Face to Face Interview)
Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite 5days/week)
Pay Range: $55–$65/hour
Key Requirements:
Cloud Operations
• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, and EKS, to ensure performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
Automation / Infrastructure as Code
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, to support repeatable and auditable deployments.
CI/CD Enablement
• Build and maintain automated pipelines for application and infrastructure delivery using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and AWS CodePipeline. Container Orchestration • Operate and secure Kubernetes clusters (Amazon EKS), including workload deployment, scaling, and monitoring. Security and Compliance,
• Embed security controls into the development lifecycle (DevSecOps), including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance checks.
Monitoring and Incident Response
• Configure observability tools, including CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis.
Collaboration
• Partner with developers, security teams, and architects to deliver resilient and compliant solutions.
Requirements:
• 8 years of experience in AWS cloud operations, DevOps, or similar roles.
• Strong experience with Linux system administration.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and automated deployment pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, with Amazon EKS preferred.
• Knowledge of AWS security best practices and relevant compliance frameworks.
