Job Summary
• Serve as a servant leader for cross-functional teams working on an SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Facilitate and guide the team and organization on Agile/Scrum practices, values, and principles.
• Coach teams on scaled Agile frameworks like SAFe.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and other teams to deliver high-value solutions.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and value delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Agile Facilitation: Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Impediment Removal: Identify, track, and remove impediments to the team’s progress.
• Conflict Resolution: Mediate and help resolve conflicts within the team.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor and report on development progress, often using tools like Jira.
• Hybrid Environment: Navigate the integration between Agile team delivery and traditional project structures, such as PMO or waterfall workstreams.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the team and other groups like release management, testing, and cutover teams.
• Scaled Agile Participation: Participate in scaled Agile events, such as PI Planning and Scrum of Scrums, if applicable.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an enterprise-scale Agile environment, preferably with a significant portion involving SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and practices.
• Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe).
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and traditional SAP project phases is beneficial.
• Proficiency with Agile management tools, particularly Jira, and others like Confluence.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher is typically required.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., SAFe Scrum Master) are often required.
• Experience with specific SAP modules or technologies (e.g., Logistics, SCM, ABAP) can be a plus
