Java Sailpoint Engineer-

We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Production Support Engineer to join our Access Platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, supporting, and maintaining critical access management systems. You will troubleshoot incidents, analyze root causes, and partner closely with engineering and application teams to ensure seamless provisioning, connectivity, and system stability.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day production support for all Access Platform services, ensuring high availability and timely issue resolution.
Identify, triage, and troubleshoot production incidents, escalating when necessary to minimize impact on users and business operations.
Review incident patterns and contribute to root cause analysis and long-term remediation.
Support identity and access provisioning workflows, including understanding of how accounts, entitlements, and application connections are created and maintained.
Collaborate with engineering and application owners to ensure smooth application onboarding and connectivity.
Develop and maintain SQL queries to assist with data analysis, troubleshooting, and validation.
Use SailPoint and Java-based tools/scripts to diagnose issues and support system processes.
Document operational procedures, knowledge articles, and best practices for the support team.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience in production support or application support roles, preferably within identity and access management (IAM).
Hands-on proficiency with SQL for troubleshooting, reporting, and data analysis.
Working knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ (or similar IAM tools).
Understanding of Java concepts, logs, and code flow for debugging purposes.
Solid understanding of provisioning processes and application connectivity (APIs, integrations, workflows, entitlements).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with additional IAM platforms or authentication technologies.
Prior experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar incident management systems.
