Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Databricks, Delta Lake, and Apache Spark. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of modern data pipelines, manage scalable data processing frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development of modern data solutions on Databricks
• Design and manage scalable batch and streaming pipelines using Delta Lake, declarative pipelines, and Autoloader
• Implement data governance, access control, and lineage using Unity Catalog
• Optimize ETL/ELT workflows and Spark workloads for performance and scalability
• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and data scientists to align technical outcomes with business needs
• Provide best practices guidance for cloud data architecture and CI/CD
Required Skills & Experience:
• 8–10 years of Big Data Engineering experience with strong Spark expertise
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience with Databricks
• Strong knowledge of Delta Lake, streaming/batch data pipelines, and Autoloader
• Proficient in PySpark, SQL, Spark optimization, and data modeling
• Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps/CI/CD processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
