Role Name: SAP SuccessFactors Solution Architect
Location: Universal City, CA

 

Role Overview
The SAP SuccessFactors Solution Architect will lead HR technology transformation initiatives, providing deep domain expertise in HR processes and SAP SuccessFactors. This role is responsible for defining solution architecture, driving technology roadmaps, and guiding large-scale HCM transformation programs from discovery through delivery. The architect will work closely with senior executives, cross-functional global teams, and enterprise stakeholders to ensure successful design and implementation of SuccessFactors solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
Lead the end-to-end solution architecture for large-scale SAP SuccessFactors implementations.
Develop integration blueprints, architecture diagrams, and solution roadmaps for HR technology transformation.
Ensure alignment of system design with HR business goals, process improvements, and global technology standards.
HR Advisory & Domain Expertise
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in HR processes, HR operating models, and transformation methodologies.
Provide strategic advisory support to C-level leaders on HR transformation and organizational change management.
Drive enterprise-level HR technology modernization initiatives.
Customer Engagement & Leadership
Lead customer workshops such as discovery, requirement gathering, process mapping, and solution validation sessions.
Deliver advisory and assessment services during RFP/RFI phases, including solution proposal development.
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure articulate, structured communication across all levels.
Implementation & Optimization
Guide cross-functional teams in implementing and optimizing SAP SuccessFactors modules.
Ensure solution integrity across modules such as Employee Central, Talent modules, Compensation, Learning, and others.
Work with global delivery teams to maintain consistent standards, architecture alignment, and best practices.
Thought Leadership & Innovation
Stay updated on latest HR technology innovations, SAP roadmap updates, and transformation trends.
Provide thought leadership, best practices, and continuous improvements for HR systems and processes.
Autonomy & Project Execution
Operate independently while managing complex workstreams from strategy to execution.
Ensure high-quality delivery throughout project lifecycle including design, build, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical & Functional Expertise
Minimum two SAP SuccessFactors certifications (Employee Central mandatory).
Strong hands-on experience across SuccessFactors modules and integrations.
Expertise in HCM processes such as Core HR, Talent, Performance, Compensation, and Workforce Management.
Proficiency in designing integrations with SAP and third-party HR systems.
Consulting & Leadership Skills
Experience leading enterprise-level HCM transformation programs.
Ability to partner with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders.
Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
Additional Competencies
Ability to work across globally distributed teams.
Strong problem-solving and solution design capabilities.
Proven ability to work with autonomy and take ownership of complex project initiatives.
