This role demands deep technical expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining complex network infrastructures.

Indicative Activities:

•                      Lead the design, architecture, and deployment of enterprise-scale network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and data center networks.

•                      Manage Cisco routers, switches, Nexus series, and Cisco ACI fabrics in production environments.

•                      Define and enforce network standards, policies, and best practices to ensure security, scalability, and high availability.

•                      Drive network automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

•                      Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new implementations, migrations, and major upgrades.

•                      Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for complex network incidents and outages.

•                      Oversee and validate configurations for firewalls (Palo Alto), load balancers (F5), and IPAM/DNS/DHCP (Infoblox) systems.

•                      Prepare HLDs (High-Level Designs) and LLDs (Low-Level Designs) and maintain comprehensive network documentation.

•                      Support capacity planning, performance tuning, and lifecycle management of network infrastructure.

•                      Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal security and change management processes.

Technical Skills:

Must Have

•                      Cisco Routing & Switching – Deep understanding of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, HSRP, and QoS.

•                      Cisco Nexus & Data Center Networking – Hands-on experience with Nexus 5K/7K/9K platforms and NX-OS.

•                      Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) – Design, configuration, and policy-based automation.

•                      Network Automation – Experience with tools like Python, Ansible, or Cisco DNA Center.

•                      High Availability and Redundancy Design for critical network components.

•                      Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization across enterprise environments.

•                      Proven experience managing medium-to-large-scale enterprise networks (preferably financial organizations).

Good To Have

•                      Exposure to Palo Alto Firewalls (policy management, Panorama).

•                      Experience with F5 Load Balancers (LTM, GTM configuration and troubleshooting).

•                      Knowledge of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).

•                      Familiarity with SDN solutions and Cloud Networking.

•                      Understanding Network Security Principles and compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS).

•                      Scripting or orchestration experience for CI/CD-based network automation.

Process Skills:

•                      Proficiency in ITIL-based operational processes — Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management.

•                      Ability to develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and technical documentation.

•                      Experience with project delivery methodologies and stakeholder communication during large-scale implementations.

•                      Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and audit requirements.

•                      Conduct technical design reviews, risk assessments, and post-implementation validation.

Behavioral Skills:

•                      Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability in complex technical environments.

•                      Excellent communication and presentation skills across technical and business audiences.

•                      Demonstrated leadership in project execution and mentoring of junior network engineers.

•                      High degree of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.

•                      Flexible and adaptive to changing business needs and technologies.

•                      Collaborative and team-oriented, fostering cross-functional partnerships.

Qualification:

•                      Professional with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network infrastructures (with focus on Cisco).

•                      Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

•                      Cisco CCNP / CCIE (Routing & Switching or Data Center)

•                      Palo Alto PCNSE, F5-CA / F5-CTS, or Infoblox NIOS certifications (optional but advantageous).
