Job title:- Business Analyst required with Experience in Data analysis.

Location:- St. Louis- MO-Onsite( Remote with Travel)

Type:- Contract Role.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify and catalog disparate data sources across the organization that are used in existing reconciliation processes.
• Analyze data structures from systems including:
– Internal mainframe database tables (primarily DB2, with some VSAM).
– MongoDB instances.
– Oracle Data Warehouses.
– 3rd-party vended platforms. Knowledge of specific platforms is not required—only the ability to learn and work through sourcing data from them.

Additional Responsibilities
• Design and document strategies for efficient data extraction, transformation, and mapping to vendor-specified schemas.
• Partner with data engineers and integration teams to implement ETL pipelines and ensure data integrity.
• Create data flow diagrams, source-to-target mappings, and technical documentation to support implementation and vendor onboarding.
• Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment on data requirements and delivery timelines.
• Identify risks and dependencies related to data availability, quality, and system compatibility.

Preferred Qualifications
• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (Oracle, MongoDB, DB2).
• Experience with legacy systems, financial data formats (e.g., BAI files), and vendor integrations.
• Proficiency in data mapping, data modeling, and ETL concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data cataloging tools.
• Familiarity with data integration platforms (Informatica, Talend, MuleSoft).
• Knowledge of financial services or banking systems.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Aha!
