Scope of Work

Fix Salesforce Financial Services Cloud integration.
Understand how Salesforce integrates in financial services context.
Come in as an expert to resolve critical issues.
Integration with Snappy Kraken marketing platform.
Ensure sharing rules, multiple tabs, and advisor data visibility are correct.
 

Critical Requirements

Salesforce Financial Services Cloud expertise.
Ability to start immediately (no long notice periods).
Comfortable with overtime and weekend work.
Strong understanding of Experience Cloud, LWC, SLDS, and API integrations.
Client is seeking a Salesforce Developer and Salesforce Administrator based in Minnesota (Shoreview office) to lead the development of a custom AppExchange application that integrates the Snappy Kraken marketing platform within Salesforce Financial Services Experience Cloud. This project requires professionals with proven experience in marketing integrations specifically within Experience Cloud (excluding Salesforce Marketing Cloud). The ideal candidates will collaborate to design, build, and deploy a seamless solution that enables financial advisors to leverage Snappy Kraken's capabilities directly within their Salesforce environment. Local presence is required for on-site collaboration and alignment with Client's team.

Executive Summary

This proposal details the scope, deliverables, and projected development effort required to deliver a Salesforce AppExchange application that allows Financial Service Professionals (FSPs) to launch, and manage marketing campaigns directly from within Salesforce. The project leverages Snappy Kraken's existing marketing automation engine, extending functionality through a native Salesforce integration that synchronizes campaigns, workflows, and reporting. With focused development resources and parallel workstreams where feasible, we anticipate completion and delivery by Feb 1,2026.

Scope of Work

Salesforce AppExchange Application

Develop a managed Salesforce package that interfaces with Snappy Kraken's platform, allowing authenticated campaign creation, launch, and reporting directly from Salesforce.

Core Deliverables:

OAuth-based secure connection to Snappy Kraken APIs
Salesforce-native UI for campaign selection
Template and asset retrieval from Snappy Kraken
Campaign scheduling
Overview and launch
Effort: approximately 750 hours

Concurrency: Will be developed in parallel with backend integration.

Edit Time Delays in Workflows

Implement ability to adjust wait times or delays between campaign steps within Salesforce, syncing with Snappy Kraken automations.

Effort: 2 developers, 2 weeks

Dependencies: Requires completion of base AppExchange app framework.

Segment Customers on Email Interaction

Enable segmentation of Salesforce contacts based on engagement metrics (opens, clicks,

unsubscribes) captured by Snappy Kraken campaigns.

Effort: 1 developer, 2 weeks

Dependencies: Snappy Kraken reporting APIs must be connected and authenticated.

Trigger Salesforce Tasks from Campaigns

Allow Salesforce tasks or activities to be automatically triggered by Snappy Kraken campaign steps (for example, follow-up calls or meetings after an email sequence).

Effort: 2 developers, 2 weeks

Dependencies: Requires established campaign event mapping.

Monitoring and Security

Add monitoring and logging for API usage, sync performance, and error handling. Implement role-based security and audit logging.

Effort: 1 developer, 2 weeks

Concurrency: Can be completed in parallel with other workstreams.

Planning, Architecture, and Scoping

Conduct upfront design sessions, data mapping, and technical validation for Salesforce-to-Snappy Kraken integration.

Effort: 2 weeks prior to build kickoff

Output: Technical design document, system architecture diagrams, and milestone plan. Testing and Quality Assurance Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing. Conduct pilot install within client Salesforce instance prior to AppExchange submission.

Effort: 2 weeks final phase

Note: Client installation occurs before the formal Salesforce approval process; project delivery is not delayed by AppExchange review as that can take 3-6 additional months.

Assumptions

All requirements and functionality represented in the shared presentation are assumed to already exist within the Snappy Kraken platform, unless specifically noted in this proposal as requiring new development.
Snappy Kraken will ensure that all relevant marketing data, including sends, opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes, campaign performance, and associated opportunity data, is made available to Salesforce via API for use in client-built reports.
The client will be responsible for building Salesforce-side reports and dashboards leveraging this data, including but not limited to campaign performance summaries and comparisons, ROI and cost attribution reports, email template rankings, and global or office-level reporting views.
Snappy Kraken's scope includes enabling and exposing the required data objects, metrics, and APIs necessary to support these Salesforce-native reports, but not the configuration or design of the reports themselves.
The client will install and validate the managed Salesforce application prior to its formal AppExchange approval to expedite delivery and testing.
Project timing assumes uninterrupted access to the client's Salesforce sandbox and that necessary API credentials and permissions will be provided at the start of development.
All work will be completed based on the timeline and development sequencing described in this proposal, with limited concurrent workstreams as outlined.
