5.              Familiar with AWS/Java

•                8 years of IT experience specializing in test automation across UI and API layers.

•                Strong hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, C#, or Python using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, etc.

•                Solid understanding of OOP concepts, TDD/BDD frameworks (Cucumber, JBehave), and microservices/API testing.

•                Proficient in Postman and automation of REST services; experience building automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model).

•                Working knowledge of SQL or similar databases (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB).

•                Experience deploying applications in AWS or OpenShift (Kubernetes) environments.

•                Familiar with Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.

•                Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.

•                Proactive, adaptable, and customer-focused mindset.

Preferred:

•                Experience in the travel industry or infrastructure automation (Docker, Terraform, Chef, Puppet).

•                Familiarity with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, CodePipeline, CloudFormation).

•                Exposure to service virtualization (WireMock, Mockito) and agile management tools (VersionOne, qTest).

•                Knowledge of non-functional testing (performance, security, load, accessibility).

Responsibilities

•                Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for applications and APIs.

•                Define automation strategies and create frameworks to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

•                Participate in design/code reviews and continuous process improvements.

•                Build tools, libraries, and utilities to increase quality and speed across teams.

•                Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.

•                Collaborate closely with engineers and business analysts to ensure end-to-end product quality.

•                Contribute to agile development processes and 12-factor application principles.
