Role Summary:
The Developer/Programmer Analyst will support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of solutions within the Microsoft 365 Power Platform to enhance HHSC’s technology capabilities, specifically supporting DSHS CFO’s Invoice Tracking System (ITS).

This includes duties across Power Platform components such as Power Automate, Dataverse, integration of Power Apps with external services and products, Model-driven Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Pages, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and document computer programs using structured and object-oriented development techniques.
• Collaborate with users to evaluate requests for new or modified systems and define requirements.
• Develop detailed plans and timelines for system implementation and integration.
• Support the expansion and optimization of HHSC’s Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
• Develop Power Apps, Power Pages, and Power Automate solutions to streamline business processes.
• Ensure best practices are followed for design, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers on the Power Platform.
• Collaborate in Agile project environments, participating in sprint planning and review sessions.

1	Preferred	Power Automate Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, business process Flows, and Process Advisor
1	Preferred	Extending Power Platform and Power Pages using JavaScript and custom plug-ins
1	Preferred	Understanding of Dataverse tables, connectors, and external integrations
1	Preferred	Familiarity with Power BI and Power Platform best practices
1	Preferred	Understanding of Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center
1	Preferred	Experience with Agile methodologies for Texas state agencies
1	Preferred	Prior experience in healthcare or public health environments
