What You’ll Get to Do:

• Lead and manage multiple Agile PODs, ensuring delivery excellence across backend platforms and applications.
• Drive end-to-end delivery, from planning and estimation through execution, release, and ongoing optimization.
• Partner closely with clients and business stakeholders to understand needs, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction with delivered solutions.
• Provide technical delivery oversight across Java/Spring Boot, Python/PySpark, PostgreSQL, AWS, and MongoDB implementations.
• Guide and mentor delivery leads, engineers, and architects within the PODs, ensuring alignment with enterprise delivery standards, practices, and governance.
• Translate business requirements into actionable delivery roadmaps, ensuring alignment with architecture, solution design, and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, transparent delivery practices, and consultative guidance.
• Champion best practices in Agile delivery, DevOps, and cloud-native development, driving continuous improvement across PODs.
• Identify and resolve delivery bottlenecks, risks, and dependencies, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with business architects, product owners, solution architects, and technical leads to ensure consistent alignment across delivery streams.

What You’ll Bring with You:

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 12+ years of experience in IT delivery management, with at least 5+ years leading multiple teams or PODs in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong background in the mortgage industry — with knowledge of loan origination, servicing, secondary market operations, and compliance considerations.
• Proven experience managing delivery across backend systems leveraging Java/Spring Boot, Python/PySpark, PostgreSQL, AWS, and MongoDB.
• Deep knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks, with a track record of successfully leading large programs through scaled Agile environments (SAFe preferred).
• Excellent client management and stakeholder communication skills; ability to build trust with executive leaders and business partners.
• Strong team management experience, with proven ability to mentor, coach, and grow high-performing delivery teams.
• Prior hands-on software development or technical leadership background is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing onshore/offshore delivery models is desirable.
• Willingness to work in the McLean, VA office 5 days per week.
