Job Description:
- Lead end-to-end UX design for loan origination flows (applications, decisioning, funding).
- Map user journeys, create wireframes prototypes, and document requirements for engineering.
- Benchmark competitors and provide a market landscape report (vendors, features, trends).
- Translate compliance, KYCAML, and credit requirements into user-friendly flows.
- Partner with product, engineering, and risk teams to shape MVP and roadmap.
- Present industry insights and make actionable recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications
- 6 years in financial services productUX design, with proven loan origination experience.
- Strong portfolio showing creditloan flows and other complex financial application flows.
- Familiarity with KYCIDV, credit pull, disclosures, e-signatures, document upload.
- Experience working with or evaluating credit decision engines (CDEs) and loan origination system (LOS) vendors.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills (stakeholder workshops, executive presentations).
- Ability to translate flows into engineering-ready artifacts (stories, acceptance criteria).
Nice-to-Have:
- Knowledge of SMB lending and SBA programs.
- Experience with open banking, alternative data underwriting.
