Job Title: Tableau BI Developer

Location: Stamford, CT – hybrid onsite (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY!)

Rate: $48 /hr on C2C

Dashboard Report Development

– Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable Tableau dashboards and reports that visualize complex data and provide actionable insights for business users.

– Data Management Utilize SQL to extract, transform, and manipulate data from various databases and data sources, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and quality.

– Performance Optimization Optimize Tableau workbooks, data sources, and queries for efficient performance, usability, and fast data retrieval.

– Troubleshooting Monitor and troubleshoot Tableau performance issues and provide solutions.

– Stakeholder Collaboration Work with business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams to understand reporting requirements, gather business needs, and translate them into effective data visualization solutions.

– Documentation Best Practices Develop and maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and data sources, and ensure adherence to Tableau best practices and data governance policies.

– User Support Training Provide technical assistance, training, and guidance to end-users on how to use Tableau and understand the developed dashboards.

Required Skills Qualifications

– Tableau Expertise Deep knowledge of Tableau Desktop, Server, and Prep, with proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards.

– SQL Proficiency Strong skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation from relational databases.

– Data BI Knowledge Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and business intelligence concepts.

– Analytical Problem-Solving Skills Ability to analyze complex datasets, identify patterns, interpret data, and provide data-driven strategic insights.

– Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and provide training.
