Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Drools Developer to design, develop, and implement business rules and workflows using the Drools Rule Engine. The ideal candidate will work closely with business analysts and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient rules-based solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development with at least 3+ years in Drools.
- Strong knowledge of Drools Rule Engine, DRL files, Decision Tables, Guided Rules, and KIE Workbench.
- Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of BPM tools like jBPM or Camunda.
- Experience integrating Drools with Kafka or other messaging platforms.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
