Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced QA Architect who can take ownership of quality delivery across multiple projects. The ideal candidate should not only bring strong testing expertise but also proven leadership skills to manage teams, vendors, and stakeholders effectively. This is a leadership-driven role, not an individual contributor position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead QA strategy, planning, and execution for complex projects.
- Work with multiple vendors and stakeholders, ensuring accountability and timely delivery.
- Drive a quality-first mindset across the team and organization.
- Collaborate across functions, keeping teams aligned and delivery focused.
- Challenge, mentor, and guide QA engineers to achieve excellence.
- Track quality metrics, report risks/issues, and ensure high-quality standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a QA Lead (not just as an individual contributor).
- Strong background in leading teams, including mentoring and performance management.
- Experience in vendor management and stakeholder collaboration.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to hold teams accountable.
- Hands-on expertise with QA methodologies, test planning, automation, and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to deliver under tight deadlines with a focus on quality.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Exposure to cloud-based applications and modern QA frameworks.
