Position: SAP MDM Consultant

Location: Plano TX

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDM Consultant to support our client’s Master Data Management initiatives. The consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining SAP MDM solutions, ensuring data integrity, governance, and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SAP MDM solutions (Data Modeling, Import Manager, Syndicator, Workflow).
• Manage and maintain master data domains such as Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance.
• Support data governance and data quality frameworks across business units.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to integrate MDM with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other external systems.
• Conduct data cleansing, enrichment, and harmonization activities.
• Develop and maintain MDM workflows, business rules, and matching/merging strategies.
• Provide technical documentation, UAT support, and knowledge transfer.
• Support issue resolution, performance tuning, and ongoing MDM operations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in SAP MDM/MDG implementation and support.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Master Data structures (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, HR).
• Expertise in SAP Data Services (BODS), Data Migration, and Data Quality tools.
• Experience with data governance, cleansing, enrichment, and harmonization processes.
• Proficiency in ABAP, ALE/IDoc, BAPI, and Web Services related to MDM.
• Knowledge of integration with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, CRM, SRM, or BW.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
