Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions. This role involves leading development teams, mentoring junior engineers, and working closely with stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions, and drive implementation. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in ServiceNow development and administration, coupled with strong software engineering and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of ServiceNow applications and integrations.
• Serve as SME for ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CSM, CMDB, ITOM, SOM) and custom applications.
• Customize and configure ServiceNow workflows, scripting (JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts), and UI components.
• Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise systems using APIs, REST, and web services.
• Ensure compliance with DevSecOps, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Partner with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience (8+ years in software development, including 5+ years in ServiceNow).
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow development, administration, and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, APIs, REST, XML, JSON, and data management.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, TDD/BDD, and security protocols (LDAP, SSO).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and engage stakeholders.
