Job Description:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL, data analysis, and familiarity with any of the reporting tools (good to have), with a good understanding of cloud technologies. This role requires excellent cross-functional communication, follow-up skills, and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment on data and system requirements.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-ups.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) if needed and support post-implementation reviews.
- Maintain documentation for systems, requirements, processes, data flows, and RCA (root cause analysis).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work across teams and levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up effectively in a multi-team environment.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
- Working knowledge of Postman for APIs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-based data tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Knowledge of ETL pipelines.
- Knowledge of Python and data pipeline methodologies.
