Job Description:

·       We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with strong mainframe expertise to join our team.

·       The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Python in a mainframe environment, along with DB2 and JCL knowledge.

·       This role involves building, maintaining, and optimizing large-scale data processing and integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop and maintain Python applications within a mainframe environment.

·       Work with Mainframe DB2 databases for data storage, retrieval, and processing.

· Write and manage JCL scripts to schedule and execute mainframe batch jobs.

·       Support and enhance existing mainframe-based Python applications.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems.

·       Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·       Senior-level Python development experience (12+ years preferred).

Mandatory Skills:

·       Python experience on the Mainframe platform.

·       Experience with Mainframe DB2 and strong SQL skills.

·       Proficiency in Mainframe JCL for batch processing.

·       Data-processing Python experience is a strong plus.

·       Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
