Position: Senior Tester in Investment Banking and Capital Markets Domain.

Location: Jersey City, NJ (onsite – Hybrid – 2-3 days office)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Overview:

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: 12+ years of experience as a software tester or quality assurance engineer, with a significant portion of that experience in the Investment Banking and Capital Markets domain.
Domain Knowledge:
Solid understanding of financial markets, products, and instruments (e.g., equities, bonds, derivatives, FX).
Deep knowledge of the front, middle, and back-office functions of a bank.
Familiarity with the end-to-end trade lifecycle.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in manual and automation testing.
Proficiency in at least one test automation tool (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, UFT).
Strong SQL skills for database testing.
Experience with API testing (REST, SOAP).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Analytical Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
Soft Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTP).
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with regulatory reporting and compliance testing.
