Job Summary:

Seeking a seasoned SAP MM/WM implementation specialist with deep domain expertise in master data governance and inventory management for healthcare manufacturing. The consultant will lead comprehensive SAP implementations focusing on material master data, inventory optimization, and warehouse management in regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP Implementation Leadership:

•       Lead end-to-end SAP MM/WM implementation projects from requirements gathering to post-go- live support

•       Conduct comprehensive business process workshops and fit-gap analysis sessions

•       Design integrated solutions spanning MM, WM, and related modules (QM, PP, SD)

•       Develop detailed functional specifications, configuration guides, and testing strategies

•       Execute complex system configurations including organizational structure, master data, and business

•       processes

•       Lead data migration strategies for material master, vendor master, and inventory balances

•       Manage integration testing across procurement, inventory, and manufacturing processes

Domain Expertise & Process Design:

•        Design comprehensive material master data governance frameworks and approval workflows

•        Implement advanced inventory management processes including cycle counting, physical inventory, and ABC analysis

•        Configure warehouse management solutions with directed putaway, picking strategies, and labor management

•        Design material requirements planning (MRP) processes with advanced procurement proposals

•        Implement inventory optimization strategies including min/max planning and consumption-based planning

•        Configure advanced batch management with batch determination and shelf-life management

•        Design serial number management and equipment tracking processes

Healthcare Manufacturing Specialization:

•        Implement FDA-compliant material master data processes with validation and change control

•        Design batch management for pharmaceutical products with potency tracking and expiry management

•        Configure serialization master data and traceability workflows

•        Implement quality-integrated inventory processes with inspection lot management

•        Design controlled substance tracking and DEA compliance processes

•        Configure cold chain inventory management with temperature monitoring integration

Required Skills & Experience:

SAP Implementation Experience:

•        10+ years of comprehensive SAP MM/WM implementation experience with minimum 6 full lifecycle projects

•        Proven track record of leading large-scale master data and inventory implementations

•        Deep technical expertise in SAP MM configuration including purchasing, inventory management, and invoice verification

•        Extensive experience with SAP WM/EWM configuration and warehouse process optimization

•        Strong experience with master data governance tools and data migration methodologies

•        Hands-on experience with SAP integration technologies and custom development coordination

Domain Knowledge:

•        Extensive materials management and inventory optimization domain expertise

•        Deep understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and purchase-to-pay workflows

•        Strong knowledge of warehouse management operations, labor management, and distribution processes

•        Experience with master data governance, data quality management, and MDM tools

•        Understanding of inventory accounting, valuation methods, and financial integration

•        Knowledge of advanced inventory techniques like vendor-managed inventory and consignment processes

Healthcare Manufacturing Expertise:

•        Minimum 5+ years of healthcare/pharmaceutical manufacturing implementation experience

•        Deep understanding of FDA regulations, cGMP requirements, and validation processes

•        Experience with batch record management, lot tracking, and product genealogy

•        Knowledge of controlled substance regulations and DEA compliance requirements

•        Understanding of serialization regulations and track-and-trace implementations

Preferred Qualifications:

•        SAP MM/WM certification

•        Experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and SAP Data Services

•        Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA advanced inventory and sourcing functions

•        Previous experience with validated system implementations and computer system validation

•        Understanding of supply chain risk management and supplier qualification processes
