We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager (Tech PM) to lead software development projects with a focus on Java technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex, cross-functional technical projects, in-depth knowledge of Java ecosystems, and proven leadership abilities to guide teams toward successful project delivery. Skills/Experience:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience managing software development projects, with at least 3 years focusing on Java technologies.
Solid understanding of the Java platform, frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate), and related tools.
Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience in risk management and change management.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Hands-on technical background or previous experience in Java development is highly desirable.
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM) are a plus.
Preferred Skills

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience integrating Java applications with databases, APIs, and third-party services.
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to technical detail.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple Java-based software development projects, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality standards are met.
Collaborate with stakeholders—including product owners, developers, QA, and business analysts—to gather requirements, define project scope, and set clear objectives.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, proactively identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Java applications with other systems and technologies.
Facilitate regular stand-up meetings, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives following Agile or hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and provide transparent status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Resolve project issues and remove blockers to keep teams motivated and productive.
Ensure adherence to best practices in Java development, code quality, testing, and documentation.
Continuously assess processes for improvement opportunities and implement changes to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.
Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, vendors, and clients as needed.
