Job Title: AWS Databricks Engineer
Location : Local to Boston, Quincy, MA Only
Required Skills:
8-10+ years of experience working with Databricks on AWS
Hands-on expertise in Apache Spark (PySpark or Scala)
Strong experience with AWS services: S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, CloudWatch, IAM
Proficiency in SQL and data modeling
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT workflows, data lakes, and data warehouse architectures
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Databricks Workflows
AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty)- Good to Have
Familiarity with ML flow, Lakehouse architecture, and data mesh concepts- Good to Have.
