Senior Java backend  developer  15+ YEARS  Must be local to NJ

Location/ Work Mode: Hybrid – 200, Liberty St, NY – 2 – 3  days from Office.

Job Type: Contract

Duration : 6 months subject to extension

Compensation: preferred   C2C

Interview Process–  Recruitment Prescreening- 20 minutes intro videocall, Trianz Technical – 30 -45 minutes video call, Customer call – 45- 60 minutes video call.

Project Starting :- First week of  August  2025.

About the Role

looking for a Senior Java Developer to build backend services, integrate real-time data processing systems, and develop reporting capabilities for a financial services platform.

Java Developer :-

•              Experience: Minimum of 13 years of experience in  development with 10+ years of Java development experience,3+ years in the financial services sector

•              Experience with enterprise financial applications

•              Understanding of PCI-DSS and regulatory compliance

Job Responsibilities

Design and develop RESTful backend APIs

Implement Apache Flink for real-time data processing

Build reporting services and analytics

Develop microservices architecture components

Integrate with message streaming platforms

Self-starter with strong initiative

Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with both technical and business leaders

Cross-functional collaboration experience

Detail-oriented with focus on data accuracy

Required Education

Masters or Engineering degree

Required Experience

Experience: Minimum of 13 years of experience in  development with 10+ years of   Java development experience,3+ years in the financial services sector

Experience with enterprise financial applications

Understanding of PCI-DSS and regulatory compliance

Knowledge of secure data handling practices

Proven experience with microservices architecture

Core Technologies: Java 11+ with Spring Boot framework

Stream Processing: Apache Flink for data aggregation

Messaging: Apache Kafka implementation

Database: PostgreSQL with strong SQL and RDBMS expertise

Cloud: AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda)

Architecture: Microservices design patterns
