Job Title: Mainframe Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA / Minneapolis, MN (100% Onsite — Local candidates only)
Exp : 12+ years
Job Description:
Develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL programs, JCL scripts, and DB2 databases.
Write, test, debug, and maintain mainframe applications following established coding standards.
Develop and maintain JCL scripts for batch processing and job scheduling.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to designing technical solutions.
Create and execute unit and system test plans to ensure application integrity.
Work closely with business analysts and project managers to refine and enhance system functionality.
Participate actively in daily stand-ups and Agile ceremonies.
Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues efficiently.
Provide documentation and knowledge transfer as needed.
Required Qualifications:
12+ years of hands-on experience in:
COBOL
JCL
DB2
Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
Proven experience collaborating with business analysts and project managers.
Experience in banking/financial services domain preferred.
Experience with Hogan systems is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
