Title: Storage Admin Role

Duration:6+ months of Contract with possible extension of hire

Location: 100 Abbott Park, Chicago, IL

Roles and Responsibilities:

Hands-on experience on NetApp (NAS), PURE Storage (SAN) and Dell Powerflex (Hyper Converged solutions)
Hands-on experience on Brocade and CISCO switches
Should have an understanding of the VMWare environment and the hypervisors.
Should have an understanding of Incident and change management process
Should be proficient in event corelation, RCA writing and the problem management process.
Proficient with Disaster Recovery solutions and Replication technologies for local and remote replications. Ensure high availability and resiliency across the NetApp and PURE local and remote replication technologies.
The candidate should be able to work in a 24×7 environment.
Understanding of the Hitachi storage administration is an added advantage.
Thorough understanding of principles, practices, and techniques used in administering Complex SAN & NAS environments
