Detailed JD :

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Tester with expertise in LoadRunner to support performance and security testing initiatives. The role will involve hands-on testing of scripts, ensuring the reliability and security of the system in preparation for an upcoming event-driven penetration test.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·        Conduct penetration testing and performance testing using LoadRunner.

           Set up use cases from scratch then execute

·        Execute and analyze LoadRunner test scripts to simulate application loads ranging from 2,000 to 5,000 concurrent users.

·        Assess application performance under varying load conditions and provide optimization recommendations.

·        Collaborate with internal security teams to conduct scheduled penetration tests.

·        Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure security and performance benchmarks are met.

·        Follow established testing processes and methodologies while adapting to new security and performance challenges.

·        Ensure compliance with internal security and governance frameworks.

 

Required Qualifications:

·        Proven hands-on experience in penetration testing and performance testing.

·        Expertise in LoadRunner for load testing and script execution.

·        Ability to analyze load test results and recommend system improvements.

·        Strong understanding of application security principles.

·        Experience working within structured testing frameworks.

·        Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Experience working within government or financial sectors.

·        Familiarity with other performance testing tools.

·        Ability to quickly adapt to evolving security and performance testing needs.

 

Additional Details:

·        Candidates must be located in Austin, TX, or willing to work remotely.

·        Offshore candidates will not be considered due to operational constraints.
