UST is looking for a ML architect who can handle following roles and responsibilities:
Develop and implement advanced machine learning models (including Large Language Models) and statistical algorithms, processing massive datasets to build scalable prototypes
Explore new content opportunities in text and image domains to create personalized traveler experiences with high business impact
Design and run experiments (A/B testing, multi-variate, factorial design, stratified sampling) to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and new initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Machine Learning Science, Marketing, and Engineering, and present findings to executives and stakeholders to drive strategic decisions
Contribute to the success of Expedia's ML community by mentoring team members, fostering a collaborative culture, and sharing best practices with other ML teams
Experience
5+ relevant experience and/or Master’s Degree or PhD preferred in a related field Proficient in one or more data science programming languages (Python, Java, R)
Strong expertise in ML techniques such as Bayesian Methods, Clustering, Decision Trees, Latent Dirichlet Allocation, NER, Random Forests, and more Proven experience applying NLP techniques and LLMs in production to solve business problems and generate significant value Location (Seattle) & in-office presence 3x a week is mandatory
