Job Title: SQL Server DBA Architect

Duration: 30 months

Location: Albany, NY(Day 1 onsite)

Requested Qualification

84 months experience in providing Technical Architecture services supporting a Microsoft SQL Server database environment. Experience must include architecture and design of SQL Server infrastructures on a Windows platform.

84 months experience designing processes and procedures, setting up standards, and creation of scripts for installation of Microsoft SQL Server software and the creation of databases.

84 months experience performing short and long-range planning needs for databases, focusing on performance and sizing characteristics to determine upcoming storage, CPU, memory, and network needs.

84 months experience in the design, architecture and build of Microsoft SQL Server on a Microsoft HyperV framework.

84 months experience in the design, architecture, and build of HADR Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or higher versions, including fail-over cluster instances, Always-on availability groups, and Disaster Recovery processes.

84 months experience in proof of concept and prototyping activities to evaluate whether proposed architecture and database components meet functional and non-functional requirements.

60 months experience with the design, implementation and support of Microsoft SQL Server Integration and Reporting services, including scale-out design for Reporting services.

60 months experience providing Microsoft SQL Server support for government / public sector IT operations utilizing ITIL-compliant methodologies for the development and delivery of government hosted IT services and solutions.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, or Information Technology
