About the Role:
Our client is expanding their Data & Analytics (D&A) capabilities to support Distribution for Data Analytics and are building a new team of engineers. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work closely with the Product Manager and Analytics Consultant to develop robust data solutions. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a passion for backend data work and hands-on development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop curated data products for analysts using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
Work both independently and collaboratively, depending on feature size and existing skillsets.
Consult with analysts exploring AWS services and provide technical guidance.
Utilize Python, AWS, and Snowflake as primary tools for data engineering tasks.
Mentor team members and ensure adherence to best practices in data engineering.
Utilize ERWIN modeling (preferred) for data architecture and modeling.
Collaborate with multiple departments to share and receive enterprise data, requiring strong communication and partnering skills.
Support high-discovery work alongside hands-on development, building credibility in this new space.

Data extraction through APIs
Snowflake experience
ERWIN modeling
AWS SageMaker, Informatica, GitHub
Transferable Technologies:
Candidates with experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure Cloud will be considered.
Team & Culture:
The new team is expected to grow to 5-7 members.
Strong emphasis on collaboration and innovation.
The role does not have formal leadership responsibilities but will involve mentoring junior team members.
Work Location:
Hybrid work model (Minimum 3 days in-office per week).
