Role 1: AWS Solutions / Application Architect
• Provide scalable cloud infrastructure solution using AWS.
• Deploy SAS based application into a modern scalable AWS environment to improve performance and maintainability.
• Provide support to the windows application, created in Java and C.
• Proficiency in scripting, managing EC2 instances, AWS Batch, AppStream, and storage accounts.
• Modernize SaaS infrastructure solutions for desktop applications with AppStream 2.0.
• Improve maintainability and readability of code, especially code documentation.
• Address limitations around resource allocation to SAS based application processes to prevent intensive processes from consuming all RAM/CPU.
• Resolve issues with SAS nonresponsive Citrix sessions and improve operational efficiency.
• Enhance audit trail and logging capabilities to trace the full history of actions on files/folders.
• Create an Image Builder, AppStream 2.0 Fleet, and AppStream 2.0 Stack for internal application.
• Connect to internal customer windows applications, enable AD, and assign users.
• Provide full SDLC documentation and GxP documentation contributions.
• Experience with SAS and R tools for clinical trials (optional).
