Role – Business Analyst

Simplified Key Skills for Business Analyst Role:
Key Tools/Technologies:
Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams, Slack).
Understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
1. Requirements Management:
Requirements gathering, documentation, and functional specifications. Managing requirement sessions with stakeholders.
2. User Stories & Backlog Refinement:
Creating detailed user stories aligned with high-level requirements. Ensuring stories meet the “Definition of Ready” for sprint planning. Maintaining a healthy backlog (two sprints ahead).
3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
Coordinating with Product Managers, Developers, QA, and third-party teams. Managing cross-team dependencies and resolving blockers.
4. Process Improvement:
Driving and contributing to process improvement initiatives. Sharing best practices and lessons learned across teams.
5. Testing & QA Support:
Reviewing test plans to align with acceptance criteria and requirements.
6. Operations & Documentation:
Maintaining updated third-party operational information. Creating “How-To” and post-go-live documentation.
7. Quarterly/Strategic Planning:
Analyzing EPIC requirements, risks, and dependencies. Supporting estimation (LOE) and solution discussions.
