ETL Tester

Location: Boston, MA

Visa: H1B or above (Need PP Number)

Note: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite) and Must Have Skills: Data Warehouse ETL/ELT Testing, SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting

Job Type: C2C

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Experience level: 8+ years

The Role:

Provide expertise in the creating test plan, building and execution of test cases through SQL / Unix scripts.
Apply testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the project testing objectives.
Consolidate testing results, identify and flag defects or issues.
Tirage and track defects to closure.
Core Responsibilities:

Understanding of the project functional and Nonfunctional requirements and Hands-on experience in QA ETL Testing. Test Plan, Test Cases development
Test Data Driven solutions by defining test cases and test strategy and provide support for application codes and solutions
Creating Test Scripts, execution of test case and defects status reporting
Execute ETL/ELT jobs or scripts using enterprise schedulers / Cloud Schedulers across various environments for testing the functionality
Hands on experience in writing SQL queries and Unix scripts
Log defects and triage the defects to ensure logical closure of the defects
Strong testing experience in Data warehousing
Key Role Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field and 5+ years of experience with a proven experience in ETL testing

Hands-on experience in SQL with advanced level skills
Experience in scripting language (shell/python)
Knowledge and understanding in Data Warehouse and data modeling
Experience in healthcare insurance domain would be nice to have
Experience using Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence tools such as Datastage / Informatica, Tableau and SSRS, etc.
Willingness to continuously learn & share learnings with others and capability to collaborate with stakeholders and project leaders to understand requirements, deliverables
Experience working in an agile and collaborative team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and professional speaking skills
Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a commitment to excellence and high standards
