REQUIREMENT

Position: Data Services Lead – Enterprise Analytics and Reporting

Location: Remote

Contract

End Client: Ebay

Experience :: Recent experience in database development, relational databases, data lakes, data analytics solutions and data warehousing, including cloud-native databases and modern cloud-based data warehouse systems and GCP.

Skills

Strong hands-on experience on Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (Or other leading RDBMS such as MySQL or SQL Server), data modeling, and design.
Hands on design and development experience in multiple Data Warehousing, Data Lake & Analytics Platforms: Client data and analytics platform ( Azure Data Factory, Client SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, etc .); Google Cloud Platform (Data Proc, BigQuery) Data storage and analysis toolsets, including modern distributed technologies such as SparkSQL, Hadoop, Presto, Hive, Kafka, Cassandra, Redshift or other equivalent solutions.
Solid understanding of data architecture, standards and data governance in relational and non-relational databases
Hands-on experience using one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, bash, etc.)
Working knowledge of data lake house reference architectures and common data processing architectures (Lambda, Kappa)
Solid understanding of data architecture, standards and data governance in relational and non-relational databases
Experience with Data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI is a plus. Working knowledge of ETL/ELT/data pipeline development, using industry-standard tools such as Talend.
Excellent problem-solving skills and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to document and communicate technical information to IT Leadership, the business, developers and support staff.
