Detail Job Description:

We're supporting an automotive client in the Bay Area on a long-term SAP S/4 HANA engagement.
We're looking for a senior profile who can act as the functional owner for Service Management and Warranty.
This is focused on post-sale / after-sales processes: service notifications, service orders, field service execution, warranty entitlement, claims/recovery, and how all of those ties into SD/MM/FI/CO for cost and billing.

Key points on the role:

This is not generic SAP SD/MM support. We need someone who understands how service and warranty work after the product is sold.
The person will sit between the client stakeholders and the SI.
They will review proposed design, push back where needed, and make sure the service/warranty process will actually work operationally.
Typical flow they should be able to explain: customer reports an issue → service order gets created and dispatched → technician time and parts are captured → entitlement / warranty / contract rules decide who pays → billing/claim is generated and posted correctly.
Must have background in SAP S/4HANA Service with real exposure to:
Warranty entitlement and claim handling
Service contracts and service orders
Installed base / equipment master / serial tracking
Integration to SD (billing), MM (spares), FI/CO (cost and recovery)
