Role: QA Tester

Location: Menlo Park, CA (Onsite)

Contract: Long Term

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities: –

• Manage the testing project at onsite by coordinating with Product Owners, Development, Scrum Master and Testing teams to complete the Software testing lifecycle within defined deadline.
• Host daily onshore/offshore connects to coordinate project delivery.
• Assign user stories to onsite and offshore team members and track their progress against project timeline
• Attend sprint grooming/planning sessions and contribute towards requirement grooming and estimation.
• Explore project requirements and perform defect reviews by attending working sessions with development
• Create the test plan and strategy for each sprint/release
• Host offshore and onsite connects to coordinate project delivery
• Build optimal test design documents for API testing and Batch testing.
• Execute API tests and Batch tests against the project requirements.
• Report project progress on daily basis with project stakeholders and QA Management.
• Attend daily scrum calls to discuss consolidated test progress of the QA team.
• Perform testing on lower and upper test environments before promoting the code to production.
• Connect with product owners and business contacts for Business Acceptance Testing.
• Support production verification during production release schedule.
• Coordinate functional and automation testing by tracking their progress.
• Support Change Requests (CRs) and Emergency Change Request (ECRs) on adhoc basis as per project requirement.
• Review Regression and automation execution and perform failure analysis for each production rollout/release.
