Position: Data Analytics Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA

Client: TCS

Experience:- 6-8  Years

 

Only GC, USC, and EAD. No H1-B

 

 

Data Analytics

1. Strong experience in Data Analytics, Data modeling, validation and data verification
2. Knowledge of system Development Lifecycle including analysis, design and review of business and software requirement specifications, development and Testing Methodologies, and Techniques.
3. Experience in using SQL queries using joins, unions, outer joins, group by and aggregate functions to extract data from different databases.
4. Experience in handling multiple databases
5. Tableau Visualization development (Calculated fields, Parameters, Data connection experience with multiple sources like hadoop, SQL DB, Smartsheet, etc.
6. Strong Analytical and rational judgement and business sights based on business facts.
7. Strong excel and advanced excel formula experience.
8. Business insight articulation through powerpoint presentations.
9. Knowledge of data analytics languages like Python, R
10. Experience in working with Agile/Scrum methodology and well versed in writing user stories.
11. Knowledge of Failure Analysis/Supply Chain Processes is desirable

 

 

Program Management

• Cross functional leadership experience, to work with multiple business groups.
• Drive weekly meetings and regular meetings with outside Quality Org.
• Work with IT development teams on need basis to prepare Business use cases.
• Actively working with offshore teams to manage RTB operations.
• Executive messaging and follow-ups to close business actions.
