Sought strengths and capabilities:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Excellent communications skills
Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Knowledge of architecture, Java design patterns, networking and business processes
Understanding of brokerage and financial concepts
Delivery focus and willingness to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical production environment
Ability to work collaboratively and develop significant relationships with a team that works towards achieving common goals related for architecture, design, development and implementation
Strong application development background and understanding of web and distributed application architecture patterns, technologies and techniques
Practical knowledge of the following frameworks, tools and standards: JSON, HTML5, Spring framework, Linux administrationand scripting, XML, messaging technologies, SSL, HTTP protocol, Tomcat, Node.js, YAML and Swagger
Prior experience and knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly Amazon Web Services
Participate in full-cycle software development including development, testing, regression, deployment, and production support
Partner closely with business and technology partners to understand business needs and to build effective technical solutions
Design, develop and deliver integrations and application enhancements which meet or exceed customer requirements
Focus on execution that align with strategic systems and applications roadmaps
Diagnose, design, and implement solutions to key technology or application problems
