Prime Therapeutics is going through an exciting technology transformation and is building a team to offer solutions, support, and automation for all of Primes IT organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with WSO2 as well as knowledge of other Middleware Technologies (JBOSS, Tomcat, MQ, WebSphere). Also experience with CI/CD toolsets, automation, continuous improvement mindset and agile methodologies is a plus. Prime is looking for someone to help drive growth in the Middleware space. This team will also be responsible for staying current with enterprise standards, industry standards and technologies, methodologies and best practices.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE
- Administer WSO2
- Support Middleware team on call to support other technologies (JBOSS, Tomcat, MQ, WebSphere)
- Able to design and implement automated tasks within the team
- Help with Documentation
- Work in an agile methodology, with a focus on the SAFe Framework
- Assist in establishing and driving the adoption of CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Responsible for staying current with enterprise and industry standards, technologies, methodologies and best practices
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? / WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in application integration and development
- Ability to identify issues, support and provide real time solutions for them
- Other Framework/Technologies: Git, Jira, CI & CD tools, artifact repository tools, and automation scripting via Ansible, etc.
- Deployment knowledge
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows Operating Systems
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written to multiple levels of the organization
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with immediate team members, other IS areas, and clients in other departments
- Strong ability to work on assigned and self-directed tasks with an emphasis on delivering results
