Req Automation Tester at Charlotte, NC usc gc only

Role: Automation Tester  

Location: Charlotte NC

Client: Charter Communications

Duration: Long Term 

Hybrid (3 day office 2 days remote)

Visa: Citizen/ GC

Rate: $55/hr Max

Desired Skills :

·         Detailed understanding of RESTful web services,  API Gateway, Kafka, Microservices

·         Working experience with Design and build automation test frameworks for Webservice and messaging applications.

·         Hands on experience in rest Automation frameworks like Karate, Rest Assured, SoapUI, Postman

·         Expert in Test preparation, test design, execution and reporting

·         Demonstrated knowledge of Json and XML message format and HTTP status codes.

·         Thorough understanding of software engineering and object-oriented design principles

·         Demonstrated knowledge of development of Microservices using Java, Spring Boot technologies

·         Ability to setup and execute build tools like Maven, and Ant

·         Hands on approach

Nice to have following additional skills :

·         Working experience with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, Databases (Relational and NoSQL)

·         Hands on experience using Eclipse/NetBeans/IntelliJ, continuous integration testing, shell scripting development.

·         Ability to take ownership and make technical decisions on software development projects.

·         Has good analytical abilities and technical skills

Preferred SDLC Skills/Abilities and Knowledge :

·         Agile experience

·         Knowledge of JIRA tool
