Payment Enterprise Architect

Job Title: Payment Enterprise Architect  
Location: Remote Work
Position: Contract
Duration: 6+ Months

Main responsibilities:

• Support the definition, elaboration, communication, and application of the CWT Payments strategy.
• Define the architecture for, and support the implementation of, enterprise capabilities that will delivered by the Payments Program
• Oversee the high-level design, prototype and evangelisation of Payments solutions.
• This role will suit a Senior Enterprise Architect with strong payments ecosystem exposure and experience bootstrapping new payments products.
• Work with Product, Technology and Business Stakeholders to define outline use cases and Business Outcomes for the Payments Program.
• Assist the Payments Product Leadership to articulate & document our go-to Market vision.
• Help define the Products that meet that vision.
• Provide signature ready recommendations for architecture to deliver required Payments Business Outcome.
• Provide payments ecosystem insights based on in-role experiences.
• Recommend the right delivery models for products considering buy, build and partner.
• Define and implement proper metrics for Payments program and product success.
• Define payments program operating models.
• Support Enterprise Architecture Leadership in defining next generation platforms, taking responsibility for the lifecycle tracking and planning within Payments and related domains as assigned.
• Behave as a trusted partner to operational business leads and technology delivery teams.
• Breakdown silos to do what’s best for CWT globally; routinely reach across business, technology and geographic boundaries in search of requirements, benefit cases, solution options and SME’s.

Experience and education:

• 10+ years payment industry experience needed.
• Able to demonstrate examples of Communications, Thought Leadership and Evangelism in the Payments domain, preferably as an architect but alternatively as product owner or technical owner.

Experience in the following payments areas:

• Designing and launching new card payment products.
• SCA
• Virtual cards
• Business to Business (B2B) payments handler.
• Working at a card payment oriented FinTech
• Working at a card Issuer
• Strongly preferred– experience in the travel or hospitality industry.
• Experience of stakeholder management, SME network building and influencing across business and technology functions
• Be comfortable working with a mixture of cutting edge and legacy payments solutions.
